This Anatomy for Movement Workshop provides an essential foundation for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of the human body and its relationship to movement. Whether you are preparing for Pilates teacher training, working in the movement industry, or simply wishing to expand your knowledge, this workshop equips participants with practical anatomy that can be immediately applied to exercise, rehabilitation, and everyday movement.
Presented by CME faculty Michelle Winn, this introduction to anatomy course provides an overview of the systems of the body and then delves into deeper understanding of the bones, joints, fascia and muscles. We then apply this knowledge to movement in order to fine tune alignment, find appropriate modifications, and bring a greater mind/body connection to our clients. This course is a great review and ‘tool’ for current students, newly certified teachers, and experienced teachers alike.
