š§µāØ Adult Beginners Sewing Class āØš§µHave a sewing machine collecting dust because it feels totally overwhelming? Or maybe youāve never even touched one but always wanted to learn? This class is for you.
Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly sewing class where weāll take away the intimidation and help you build confidence from the very first stitch.
What weāll cover:
ā¢ Getting to know your sewing machine (no more guessing!)
ā¢ What the feed dogs (āteethā) do and how they work
ā¢ How to properly thread your machine
ā¢ Basic stitches + adjusting stitch length
ā¢ How and when to use reverse
ā¢ Practicing straight lines on paper (yesāpaper first!)
Once you feel comfortable, weāll finish by transferring those same skills onto fabricākeeping it simple with straight lines only. No curves yet, just confidence-building basics.
āØ This is the perfect first step before moving into our upcoming project-based class, where weāll create a fun bowl cozy together!
