Jasmine Demos has joined our amazing team of instructors to share her gift of sewing. During this workshop students will learn the following Basic Sewing Skills:1. Hand sewing techniques: Students will learn to perform basic hand stitches in button sewing and how to hem an article like the running stitch and the back stitch as well as others.
2. The student will be able to develop a plan for a sewing project, for example, deciding what materials are needed and steps to complete the project.
3. Students will be able to troubleshoot common sewing issues such as thread jams in the fabric or how to address uneven stitches.
4. Students will be able to complete a sewing project, demonstrating their ability to apply learned techniques and skills.
5. The goal is for the student to gain confidence in their ability to complete sewing projects and overcome the challenges in sewing.
