Beginner's Introduction to Sewing

Class fee includes:

• Pattern
• Fabric
• Thread
• Use of sewing machine
• Use of sewing notions
• Instruction

We will discuss the basics of sewing including how to read a pattern, how to alter a pattern, how to select and cut out fabric, parts of the raw fabric, sewing machine safety and operation, how to finish fabric edges and how to sew. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you have one.

Worried you won't finish by the end of the event? Don't be! You can take you project home to complete it on your sewing machine with unlimited phone assistance, you can purchase the class sewing machine and notions to take home to finish or you can leave it to be finished by our talented seamstress. :D

The Creative Nashville location is a private residence with a sewing studio in the attached garage. It's a 20 minute drive North from Nashville, TN city center and is a beautiful drive into the country. There is plenty of free parking with snacks & drinks provided. :)
