Who is this suitable for: Any over 16- this session requires NO sewing experience!
What you'll learn & make:
Create your own pretty & practical hand embroidery sampler choosing from a selection of designs. They’re a fun way to try a range of different outline stitches. There are so many hand embroidery stitches out there but this class is aimed at beginners who want a modern take on an embroidery. In this session you’ll learn how to transfer a design onto fabric, split your threads & trial a range of different outline stitches including;
running stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, French knot, bullion knot, Whip stitch, Split stitch...
These are great transferable stitches to card making, soft furnishings & fashion/up-cycling. Take time to slow down down this year & enjoy this mindful craft you can take on the go with you.
(you may not leave with a finished product but will have the skills & knowledge to do so at home)
