Come to Oktober's in Lakewood on Saturday, April 5th, from 2-4 pm for a full beginner's crochet tutorial!
Here, you will learn everything you need to know to get started stitching and finally create the projects you've been dreaming of. You will learn to make a slip knot, starting chain, single crochet, turning chain, half double crochet, and double crochet.
$25 per person covers 2 hours of lessons and all materials needed. Feel free to bring your own hooks, but we prefer you use our yarn to be sure it is appropriate weight and shade for beginners.
Please note: All materials (except for take home handout and your work) will be collected at the end of class to be recycled for other classes. This allows me to provide beginner classes, which are proven to effectively teach the basics of crochet, at affordable prices for students while reducing waste.
All students receive 10% discount on merchandise at Oktober's on the day of class.
Oktober's is located at 12611 Madison Ave. We will be using the beautiful event space connected to the shop. You may use the separate entrance at 12607 Madison Ave. There will be signage and friendly people to greet you. There is ample parking on the eastern side and back of the shop parking lots.
Cancellation policy: You may cancel your booking any time through Signup Genius by revisiting the signup page and "contacting the organizer" (Jessica Skiles) or emailing [email protected], and letting me know you cannot make it. The lesson fee is refundable if you cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled class time. I will be able to refund your money directly to your card. It may take up to 3 days to process the funds, depending on your bank.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
