Beginner Woodworking Taster Session: Make a Wooden Jewellery Box

Try your hand at woodworking skills by making a mini, lidded jewellery box in this practical, small-group session for beginners.
About this Event

Designed specifically for beginners, this hands-on workshop will introduce core woodwork skills through making a mini, lidded jewellery box.

Making the box will give an introduction to:

• Reading the wood and understanding the grain
• Measuring and marking with accuracy
• Cutting squarely with different types of saws
• Shaping and smoothing using a plane and sanding
• Assembly
• Applying finishes to complete your piece

As with all our courses, we keep group sizes small, so places are limited to a maximum of 6 people.
Cost: £50 per person plus eventbrite fee
