Looking for a FUN Sunday activity that will get you moving? Learn to Swing Dance with Paul and Sarah at the Urbana Park District! It is so much fun! No experience, special shoes, or partner required. Complete beginners are welcome! ALL ARE WELCOME!
There will be 2 sessions of swing dance in Fall 2025, join us for one or both! Session 1 is from Sept 7-Oct 12 (6 classes). Session 2 is from Oct 26-Nov 23 (5 classes). No class Oct 19.
Beginner Class is from 5-6:15 pm Sundays. Cost for the entire session 1 (6 classes): $30 for residents of Champaign-Urbana, $35 non-residents. Cost for the entire session 2 (5 classes): $25 for residents of C-U, $30 for non-residents.
Beginner classes are appropriate for everyone including people with no dance experience. All beginner sessions will be different from each other, but all at the beginner level -- anyone can take any session in any order -- new people can join at the start of any session. Sessions are designed to be repeated as many times as you'd like -- learning new "moves" and improving your dance skills each time. Any questions, please email [email protected].
