Description: Illuminated Art - learn the modern techniques of creating stained glass panels to display in your windows. During this 8-hour course (conducted in two 4-hour sessions on consecutive Saturdays), students will learn how to transfer a paper pattern to glass, cut and shape the glass, apply copper foil to the edges of the glass pieces, and solder the pieces together to make a complete panel. All tools and materials are provided.
Safety: Please wear CLOSED-TOE shoes to all Glass Crafters sponsored classes. Students with sandals or open-toed shoes will not be allowed in the classroom. Long pants are recommended but not mandatory. Safety glasses must be worn, glasses are provided in class if needed.
Course fee is $285 and includes all materials and supplies.
