Beginner Sewing Workshop: Sewing Shorts

Learn the basics of patternmaking and construction by creating a custom pair of shorts, using a well-fitting pair of pants as your pattern base!

What to bring:

• 1.5 yds of fabric (Suggested fabrics: Poplin, Cotton Lawn, Chambray, Linen)

• Well-fitting pair of pants (no pants will be harmed in the making of your shorts!)

Pro Tip: Please wear leggings or fitted shorts to the workshop. This allows you to easily try on your shorts for accurate measuring and fitting throughout the session.
