Beginner Sewing Workshop

Always wanted to learn to sew but felt unsure where to begin? This relaxed, hands-on workshop is the perfect first step, even if you’ve never used a sewing machine before.
Join us at The Tailor’s Stitch for a welcoming beginner sewing workshop where you’ll learn the basics of sewing and create your very own boxed zipper bag to take home.
What you’ll learn:
- How to confidently use a sewing machine
- Helpful sewing terms and techniques
- Where to begin with a project
- Basic quilting stitches
- How to sew a zipper
- Tip and guidance throughout your project
All materials and equipment are provided.
There will be a selection of fabric so you can choose your favourite.
You will receive a handout to take home with the pattern and all instructions to make another, as well as your completed project.
The workshop runs for 3 hours, with small class sizes so you’ll receive plenty of individual guidance and support throughout the session.
