Our beginner sewing class is designed for individuals with little or no experience in sewing. The class typically covers fundamental sewing skills, including how to operate a sewing machine, read a simple pattern, and complete basic stitching techniques.
What You’ll Learn:
• Introduction to Sewing Machines – How to thread, adjust settings, and troubleshoot common issues.
• Fabric Basics – Understanding different types of fabric and how to choose the right one for a project.
• Basic Stitches – Straight stitch, zigzag, and backstitch.
• Seam Finishing – Learning techniques to prevent fraying and create durable seams.
• Simple Projects – Create a small item like tote bag at the end of the session using your newly learnt- practice skills.
