The six week course starts Sunday 11th January at 11:30am in Downley.
The course is for complete beginners to introduce you to the amazing world of scentwork and the benefits it can have for your dog. All dogs need not only physical but also mental stimulation to feel happy and content. Scentwork gives the dog a great mental workout leaving them feeling tired and relaxed. Scentwork is suitable for any age, breed, or size of dog. This course covers,
1. How to keep your dog focused on a search area.
2. Handling skills.
3. Recognising your dogs change in body language when they are
sourcing and finding a specific odour.
4. Searching novel areas.
5. Indications.
Once you have completed the course you will be able to join my regular Sherlock Hounds Super Sniffers group classes.
