Beginner Procreate Workshop

Join this beginner Procreate class to learn about setting up your digital workspace so it’s organized and ready for future print needs, then dive into an ocean of customizable brushes and layers.

REQUIRED MATERIALS: Tablet with Procreate installed and some kind of stylus or pen for the tablet.

After taking this class, you should be able to:

• Create Procreate canvases with the correct dimensions for your art projects
• Describe the relationship between canvas dimensions and layers
• Organize your canvases in stacks within Procreate
• Use your stylus and different Procreate brushes to draw on a canvas
• Describe how and when to use layers
• Differentiate between Share options in Procreate

BIO: Will Cardini is a cartoonist and instructional designer based in Kansas City, Missouri. He has been self-publishing psychedelic science fiction comics since 2006, teaching adults how to use various software systems since 2008, and drawing digitally since 2009. More recently, he successfully taught his daughter to use Procreate to design print-ready greeting cards.
