Learn how to throw pottery on the wheel in this hands-on, five-week course!We’ll cover the basics of making bowls, mugs, and plates. No experience required.
Open to all skill levels
Max 9 students per class

What to Expect:
Week 1: Intro & Throwing
Meet your instructor, review class policies, watch a demo and learn the basics, then jump right on the wheel! Time to get muddy and start throwing.
Week 2: Demo + Trimming
Trimming is the process of refining your leather-hard pieces. We’ll show you how to shape, smooth, and add finishing touches to your pieces using professional tools.
Week 3: Throwing
Time to get back on the wheel and sharpen your centering and pulling skills!
Week 4: Trimming
Your final wheel class to trim and perfect your forms.
Week Off
Rest those hands! Your work will be dried and bisque-fired by our staff.
Week 5: Glazing
The fun part! Choose from our in-house glazes and experiment with color and design.
