Swing is a family of energetic, improvisational partnered and solo dances set to the big band jazz music of the 30’s and 40’s.
Our events are open to all members of the Queen’s and Kingston community. Join us every Monday for a 1-hour beginner lesson on partnered swing dancing, followed by 2 hours of unstructured social dancing and practice in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment. No experience, partner, or fancy shoes are required - all are welcome!
Drop-in lessons are $5 for students, $10 for community members, and free for QSDC members. QSDC memberships are now available! Consider registering to support the club and receive discounts on QSDC events.
