Learn the basics of flatwater kayaking in this introductory class featuring a combination of lecture and hands-on experience. The class is designed for beginners. Course topics include safety, equipment, and stroke techniques. For participants under 18 years old, both parent/guardian and child must each register and will participate in individual kayaks and wear life jackets. Basic swimming skills required. 1 - 1.5 hr. lesson - $27 / $30 nonresidents per person, including adults.
