$15.00You will learn how to make Junk Journals, Signatures and ephemera to add to your Journal. A Junk Journal is a handmade and hand bound book created with recycled paper and found objects that might otherwise end up in the trash, hence "Junk Journal"
This month Barbara will show you how to alter a Little Golden Book into a Junk Journal and add signatures to the book.
Bring your basic tool kit, craft mat, paper trimmer, score board, bone folder, sm. wire cutters, wet glue, sm. cutting mat, exacto knife, tapestry needle, embroidery thread or thin cording or twine, awl or pokey tool, 1/8 heavy duty hole punch(crop-a-dile) and 4 large binder clips. Also bring a variety of colored, patterned and decorative papers and scrapbook paper and ephemera.
You will receive a Little Golden Book, dyed papers, sheet music and other misc. papers and ephemera from Barbara. You can also bring other things to add like envelopes, bags, maps and any ephemera you would like to decorate. We have limited seating so pre-register and pre-pay. This class will also be taught simultaneously on Zoom. Contact us with enough time to ship kit to you.
