Our next block of weekly Lindy Hop classes begins on Wednesday 29th October! Throughout the month, we will be focusing on Charleston.
The Level 1 Fundamentals classes (7:30-8:30pm) are suitable for complete beginners, and require no prior dance experience or partner. Each week will build on the content of the previous one, and our teachers will take you through the fundamentals of Lindy Hop. Each 4-week block will begin from scratch and focus on one of the basic rhythms of lindy hop - you can join starting in either week 1 or week 2, but after that, we ask that you wait until the next block. This month, our Fundamentals classes will focus on Charleston.
Level 2 Improver/Intermediate classes (6:30-7:30pm) are aimed at dancers who are already comfortable with the fundamentals of Lindy Hop (including 8 count, 6 count and Charleston) and are looking to challenge themselves further. You should have done at least one of each rhythm block before moving to this level - please speak to a teacher if you're not sure whether you are ready. These classes are drop-in so you don't need to book them as a block, but you can if you'd prefer.
Following the classes we have DJ'd music for Swing social dancing until 10pm!

WHEN: Wednesdays, 6:30pm to 10pm
- Level 2 Improver/Intermediate class: 6:30pm to 7:30pm
- Level 1 Fundamentals class: 7:30pm to 8:30pm
- Swing social dancing: 8:30pm to 10pm
WHERE: St Ninians Hall at Greyfriars Charteris Centre
HOW MUCH:
- £8 per class (£32 for a 4 week block)
- £3 for the social dance only (card payment at the door)

Missed the first class of the block? Don't worry, you can buy tickets for a 3 week block for £24.
You also offer pre-booked tickets for both classes! You should have enough prior experience to join the Level 2 classes while being happy to brush-up on the fundamentals in the Level 1 classes.
