3 Sessions: Thursdays 5:30 to 8:00 PM (April 2, 9, &23)INTRODUCTION TO HAND-BUILDING
This class will teach the basics of hand building in pottery, rolling slabs, cutting forms, shaping clay and surface decoration, as well as painting and glazing. Various project options will be available for people to choose how they would like to spend their time in class.
This class will focus on creating common kitchen items.
Your fee includes 2 weeks of lessons (with a 1 week break to allow clay to dry ) includes 10 kg. clay, use of studio equipment, glazes, and firing.
This class is geared for adults, but age 14 - 17 welcome (accompanied by adult enrolled in class).
