Beginner Glass Fusing

Have you ever wanted to explore the exciting world of glass fusing? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start your creative journey! We’ll provide all the necessary materials and equipment to introduce you to the art of glass fusing. Students will begin by learning essential glass-cutting techniques, important safety practices, and the fundamentals of working with glass. Our goal is to build confidence, spark creativity, and give each student a solid foundation to begin their glass-fusing adventure!
Each student will have the opportunity to let their imagination shine while designing two separate one-of-a-kind jewelry pendants, each with an attached bail for hanging, to reflect their own creativity and personal style.
Once class is complete, we’ll take care of the kiln firing and coldworking processes to transform each student’s creations into finished pieces of wearable art. The completed pendants will be returned to Dry Ridge Gallery for students to pick up and proudly wear or share with family and friends. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to have fun!
