Beginner Fabrication Workshop
About this Event
Beginner Fabrication Workshop
Ready to dive into the world of fabrication? Join us for a hands-on, in-person workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of metal fabrication while creating your own custom piece from start to finish. This hands-on workshop is designed for beginners and offers the option to choose between two projects: a sculptural wine bottle holder or a modern steel side table.
You’ll be guided through essential fabrication techniques including measuring, cutting, and MIG welding, along with proper tool use, shop safety, and finishing methods. Each project is designed to be approachable while still teaching real, foundational skills you can build on.
The wine bottle holder is a smaller, more creative project focused on shaping and welding, while the side table introduces layout, squaring, and assembling a functional piece of furniture.
By the end of the weekend, you’ll leave with a finished piece you built yourself and a strong introduction to working with metal.
No prior experience needed. All materials and tools are provided.
This class is a 2 day class. Saturday 25th, noon-3pm AND Sunday 26th, noon-3pm.
