About this Event
* Students MUST bring their own size H-8 (5.0mm), I-9 (5.5mm) or J-10 (6mm) crochet hook

Try your hand at a new look for lei this year by learning to make the beginner Basic Crochet Lei.
Known & loved from the lei book, Fancy Hawaiian Lei in Crochet by Roberta E. Wong, this simple "ruffled" style yarn lei looks wonderful when imitating pua, or flowers, or when done in school colors. Adding eyelash yarn gives texture and dimension to your lei, which can evoke everything from pakalana to 'ohai ali'i.
If you do not finish your lei during class, you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to finish your lei on your own at home.
Workshop includes:
- 1 skein "stem" color Red Heart Super Saver Yarn
- 1 additional skein Red Heart Super Saver (any color)
- One more skein of ANY acrylic yarn OR eyelash yarn priced $7.99 or less. [3 SKEINS TOTAL]
Ages 10 and up, with basic crochet skills, welcome!
