Bouldering is like rock climbing but transcends shorter routes without any ropes or harnesses. Join volunteer Jeff Gillespie for a unique experience at Panola to learn the basics of bouldering. All equipment will be provided. Must call the park to register at 770-389-7801 as space is very limited. $20 CASH donation to Friends of Panola Mountain due at the time of program. All participants must be at least 8 years old. Wear closed toed shoes, clothes suitable for movement, bug spray, and sunscreen. Be sure to bring plenty of water.
Meet at Alexander Lakes Dam. Park Entrance - 4965 Flat Bridge Rd. Stockbridge, GA 30281. Parking $5/vehicle. We will hike in approximately 0.75 mi to the bouldering area before getting started.
