Beginner Bee School (Stark County Beekeepers Association)

This year’s class at Stark Parks Exploration Gateway will give you the information to start beekeeping with confidence.  

Topics include bee biology equipment needed for raising bees what to do when your bees finally arrive and how to track their progress in their new home. The course fee includes support materials and a beginning beekeeping book by Keith Delaplane a globally recognized honey bee authority. Morning snacks and lunch will be provided.

Local beekeepers and vendors will be available to answer questions and to help you make your first beekeeping purchases.
