2-day intensive in Unarmed stage combat & NSFS ExamWe will have two levels in his class:
Beginner and Intermediate.
For the intermediate you need 20+ hours of training with a recognised stage combat instructor. The intermediate students have the possibility of training towards the internationally recognised NSFS certificate in Unarmed on Sunday 9th, part of the 9 weapon system of the Nordic Stage Fight Society.
Students will learn choreography and techniques for unarmed combat with focus on safety, technique and acting. We'll be learning one-on-one fights and multiples. if we have time we will also work with weapon disarms and takedowns.
Unarmed combat covers the whole spectrum from falls and slaps to martial arts and an all-out brawl. The techniques we teach are designed to be safe and work for both film and theatre.
We start off with induvial techniques which will then be combined into choreography.
The instructor is Huw William Reynolds, a stunt coordinator, performer, armourer and stage combat instructor certified by the Nordic Stage Combat Society.
Huw works full time in film and theatre, and has worked as stunt coordinator for multiple films, as well as productions for Det Norske Teater, The Norwegian National Theatre, and Den Norske Opera & Ballett. He is also the stage combat instructor at KHiO and Westerdals (Høyskolen Kristiania).

Bring training clothes and indoor shoes, as we will be falling, being dragged on the floor and kicking, so they need to be stretchable and comfy, avoid jeans and anything with lots of metal studs!
Make sure you don't have any piercings or jewellery that might catch on clothing, or le us know in the class.
The course will be Kr2500 (includes OFSCEN/NSFS membership for 2025)
or Kr2200 for current OFSCEN/NSFS members.
