Beginner Adult Oil Painting Class

Join me for this five-week art workshop covering all the fundamentals of oil painting! And YES there will be some wonderful beverages and treats to make your artsitic experience that more enriched. ;) This workshop will have an intimate ambiance that fosters connection and creativity. If you have ever been intrigued by oil painting but it's felt too scary to explore alone fear not—this class is for you!

During this workshop we'll be painting step by step as a class. Your first week will be an overview of your supplies the differences between certain brushes and learning how oil paint works. Because this block's focus is an impressionist painting the topics we will explore in this class will be: color theory texture paint application and how to paint layer by layer. We will recreate Monet's Water Lilies .

When: October 10th - November 14th 2024 Thursday's from 6:30-8:30 pm.
