Then come experience WAJI Studio's Beginner Improv Workshop for Adults: Permission to F**K Up! where we will relish in our mistakes, get goofy, and laugh out loud while learning improv basics in a fun, no-judgment zone!
This beginner improv workshop focuses on turning mistakes into opportunities and learning to commit with confidence, even when things don't go as planned! You will learn some improv basics while playing through a series of warm ups, games, and exercises that will help boost your confidence, make you laugh, and let loose.
No improv experience? No problem. All experience levels are welcomed. The priority of this workshop is to carve out time to have fun and learn something new!

Hi, I’m Alexis. WAJI Studio is my personal creative studio built around the idea that as humans, We're All Just Improvising. Or, to simply put it, making shit up as we go. This space is where I share whatever I'm exploring or creating in the moment in hopes of finding my people along the way.
I've been an improviser for 7 years and counting. I began my improv training at Black Rocks Art Center in Germantown, MD and The Maryland Ensemble Theatre right here in Frederick,MD. Through my experience with Improv Camp at Improv Utopia, I have had opportunity to learn from and perform with a variety of different improvisers throughout the country. Along the way, I have developed a deep appreciation for Improv's ability to foster connection, build confidence, and create a space where adults get to play again. In my workshops, I focus on creating a supportive environment where people feel encouraged to take risks, try new things, and have fun. My goal is simple: to provide a recess in your life, a place where you laugh and rediscover the joy of play!
