Beginner Acoustic Guitar Workshop

Curious about learning guitar? This beginner-friendly workshop for adults is a great place to start. Participants will learn basic chords, strumming patterns, simple songs, and foundational techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment. No experience is necessary — just bring your own acoustic guitar and a willingness to have fun while learning music. If you need help finding a guitar to borrow, please reach out in advance and we’ll do our best to help.

Doors open at 2:30 PM in the Oaks East Room at the Rogue Valley Country Club. This 2-hour beginner-friendly workshop for adults includes instruction on basic chords, strumming patterns, simple songs, and foundational techniques, followed by a Q&A with the instructor. Attendees will receive a take-home packet covering the material. Please bring your own acoustic guitar and a notepad if you’d like to take notes; extra picks will be provided.
