About this Event

Hygienists are often the first members of the dental team to notice that something isn’t quite right with a tooth. This interactive, case-based presentation will explore the clinical and radiographic clues that may raise suspicion for pulpal and/or periapical disease.

We will cover what to look for during routine hygiene appointments, how to ask the right questions, and how to recognize when a patient may benefit from an endodontic evaluation. We’ll also discuss how to explain an endodontic consultation in a way that feels reassuring rather than alarming. This presentation will conclude with practical cases designed to help you put these skills into practice.
