Tango on the floor, rhythmic and elegant - that's the Villa Urquiza style!
In 2011, the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza was declared "Capital of Danced Tango"
For years this neighborhood has been considered a fundamental pillar in the maintenance of the milongas as a cultural and traditional resource.
The choreography of tango danced in Villa Urquiza was gradually developed by virtuous popular dancers, among which stand out : "Negro Lavandina, Lampazo, Petróleo, Gerardo Portalea, La Negra Margarita, Ada, el Turco José y Nelli, los Dispari, el maestro Filardi.... among many others.
In this workshop you will find a dance with an "air... with brushstrokes... with a "touch" of that exquisite "Villa Urquiza Style "
