Joel Vaisse, trombone Ross Holcombe, trombone Amanda Stewart, trombone Ferde Grofe: Mississippi Suite Thierry Caens: Tribones Concerto for Three Trombones Beethoven?s Symphony No. 7 pulses with unrelenting energy ? including one of the most beloved movements in classical music. TFO is proud to perform the exciting U.S. premiere of Thierry Caens? Tribones, a concerto for three trombones that TFO co-commissioned with the French Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse. It features TFO?s Joel Vaisse and Ross Holcombe, as well as guest Amanda Stewart. The concert begins with a ride on a musical riverboat in Grofe?s Mississippi Suite, celebrating its 100th anniversary. Free Pre-Concert Conversations: Start 1 hour before the performance in the concert hall. Sponsored by The Ruth & J O Stone Foundation.
