With guest conductor Michael Joel as your musical guide, this concert invites you to experience the elegance, joyfulness and mischief of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 in a way you’ve never heard before.
In the first half, Michael and the orchestra will “unwrap” the music—bringing out key themes, rhythms, and harmonies, and sharing insights into Beethoven’s ideas and emotions through music itself. After a break with the chance to chat to the musicians over a cuppa, you’ll hear the entire symphony performed in full.
