The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra brings this monumental work back to the stage for the first time since its sold-out performances in April 2008. Widely regarded as one of the greatest achievements in Western music, Beethoven’s final symphony is more than a concert—it’s an experience that speaks directly to the human spirit. This bold innovation gave the world “Ode to Joy,” a transcendent anthem of unity, hope, and brotherhood that continues to resonate across generations and cultures.
The DSO will be joined by the Dubuque Chorale and singers from area universities, colleges, and seminaries, as well as vocal soloists Megan Gloss, Amanda Hauta, Iris Allen and Alvaro Ramirez.
