Featuring Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Khachaturian's Adagio of Spartacus & Phrygia, Strauss's Death and Transfiguration, and Beethoven's Violin Concerto. We are joined by guest violinist, Maya Anjali Buchanan.
At the center of the program is Beethoven's Violin Concerto, one of the most beloved works ever written for violin and orchestra. Paired with music that moves from quiet reflection to sweeping emotion, this concert offers a fresh way to experience the orchestra in an intimate setting.
