Experience the dazzling virtuosity of Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G, performed by guest artist Parker Van Ostrand, a rising star in the classical world. Van Ostrand, a 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts and winner of the 2023 PianoTexas Academy Concerto Competition, makes his debut with the Evansville Philharmonic.The second half of the concert showcases Beethoven's Symphony No. 3, "Eroica", a powerful work that broke new ground in the symphonic world and is a landmark of the Classical-Romantic transition.
