Jacob Evans presents a programme of beauty and power, combining two of the classical and romantic era composers together to create an evening of wonderful music.
Beethoven, known for his fiery personality and passionate sound, wrote an incredible amount of music for the piano. Among these were 32 piano sonatas, of which, Pathetique no. 8 and Appassionata no. 23 will be presented. Mendelssohn, creator of beautiful melodies and light, brilliant music, was also a great writer. Of his music, the Variations Serieuses op 54, along with his Fantasy in F# minor op 56, will be presented.
Taylah Blanchard will be joining Jacob as a special guest, presenting selected works on the violin. Taylah's beautiful tone and agility in quick passages are sure to delight audiences.
Also in this concert is a new initiative, 'The Student Spotlight', where specially invited advanced students will be able to display their abilities on their instruments to an appreciative audience. This will be a special opportunity for them, giving them a chance to perform some of the works they are currently practicing.
Don't miss out on an unforgettable evening of brilliant classical music! Save these dates and book your tickets!
