Beethoven 5th Symphony

The UTRGV Symphony Orchestra together with guest conductor Augusto Carrión bring to life Beethoven's legendary Symphony No. 5, one of the most powerful and recognizable works ever written. The program also includes the spirited energy of Dvořák's Slavonic Dances and Weber's dazzling Bassoon Concerto, showcasing the virtuosity and expressive beauty of the bassoon, featuring Guatemalan bassoonist Telma Díaz.
