About this Event

Come and join us at our Beeston Hill Community Cinema Open Day we will be presenting pictures, photographs and artefacts relating to our former cinema. A video installation directed and filmed by local artist Tyvin Haque, called “A walk through South Leeds Picture House Past” of a route around our local area taking in the buildings and plots of former cinemas. We also have a large map of Beeston Hill that includes the locations of all the former cinemas in the area. Come along and enjoy a slice of South Leeds cinema history.
