Join History Jackson Hole for Beers & Banter: Photography on Thursday, August 27 from 6-7:30 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm) at the Jackson Hole History Museum.
From William Henry Jackson, who first photographed the Teton Range in 1873 while on the Hayden Expedition, to Ansel Adam’s famous 1942 photo of the Snake River and the Tetons, photographers have been shaping the perception of Jackson Hole for more than 150 years.
This history happy hour will feature local photographers including Brad Boner, Lina Collado, Ryan Dorgan, Lisa Flood, and Sam Pope as they share their personal experiences behind the lens.
The event is free and open to the public with limited seating on the Jackson Hole History Museum’s outside Deck (weather permitting) at 175 East Broadway Ave. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
