Think you've got the strength to outlast the competition? Put your endurance to the test in our Beer Stein Hoisting Competition! Contestants will compete to see who can hold a 1-liter beer stein with a straight arm for the longest time. Last person standing wins!

Competition Details:

• Check-In: Begins at 2:00 PM
• Competition Starts: 2:30 PM (promptly)
• Registration Fee: $25 per person
• Eligibility: Participants must be 21 years of age or older with valid ID.

Prizes:
🥇 1st Place: $50 Cash + Beer Merchandise
🥈 2nd Place: $30 Cash + Beer Merchandise
🥉 3rd Place: $20 Cash + Beer Merchandise

Competition Host: Brian Shea is an improviser, producer and writer based in Hanover. In 2020, he co-founded Highwire Improv with three friends and continues to perform, teach and serve on the board of directors. He has performed in Hanover, Baltimore, Lancaster, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Williamsburg and New York. He continues to try and make improv happen in Hanover - ask him about the new class starting in October with Hanover Borough's Department of Parks and Recreation. He can be found on morning walks around Hanover, solving the world's problems with friends or holding down a local barstool.

Participant Check-In: 2:00pm - 2:30pm

If you are registered in advance, you may check in up to 30 minutes before the event begins. Please note that hoisting may not begin until the official event start time.
