This practical and engaging course is designed for beekeepers who started last year or so and want to build on their initial experience. We'll guide you through the challenges of your second year and beyond, ensuring you and your bees thrive.
Course Overview:
Our three-part evening course covers essential topics to help you succeed:
- Setting up for Success (11th) : Preparation, first inspections, early season management, and comb replacement.
- Beekeeping Challenges (18th): Managing diseases and pests, preventing starvation, and handling swarms.
- End of Season (25th) : Harvesting honey, uniting colonies, storing comb, winter feeding, treatments, and preparation.
