The Western Honey Bee is extremely important to the environment and agriculture. Honey bees pollinate approximately 85% of all crops in Florida. Join us and learn the basics for your new apiary adventure!
This workshop will teach you about:
- Beekeeping Laws and Regulations in Florida
- Common Beekeeping Tools
- The Biology and Common Diseases
- How to start as a beekeeper
- Live demonstrations
- And more
