Cost: $125 per clinic (discount available if you register for multiple clinics) + lift tickets need to be purchased separately from the park
{Saturday, August 22nd}
[10am-1pm] Intro to Bike Park
New to riding at lift service bike parks? Join us to cover the fundamentals the unique demands of downhill parks including body position, braking, terrain choice, loading/unloading of the lift, and etiquette.
[10am-1pm] Intro to Jumping
This clinic is designed to introduce you the skills needed to evaluate the size and shape of any jump and understand how to tweak your skill application based on your speed. “Press” and “Absorb” are the elemental skills. We’ll teach you how to do each one, when and how much to apply them. Let’s make YOU the driver in control of taking flight.
[2pm-5pm] Advanced Braking
Beech is Steep! Want to tackle steeper terrain with more control? Develop front brake control, intentional body positioning, and dynamic strategy for Steep chutes and feature-rich trails.
[2pm-5pm] Cornering
Do you get hung up, lose speed, or lose control in corners, especially the berms at bike parks? Maybe you’d like to figure out how to carry more exit speed? This clinic takes a deep dive into the skills needed to corner with more control, confidence, and speed.
{Sunday August 23rd}
[10am-1pm] Women’s Intro to Jumping
Have you been eyeing all the new jumps popping up at bike parks in the region and wonder “How do you even start doing that?” Rather than just launching down the trail and hoping for the best, wouldn’t be awesome if you had a plan and understanding of the elemental skills needed to jump in control?
[10am-1pm] Youth Gravity
For riders 12-15 years old who want to progress their park riding. We’ll cover tips to adjust your technique for different size and shape jumps and how to achieve better control, confidence, and speed on technical trails.
[2pm-5pm] Women’s Cornering
Want to rail bike park berms with confidence? This clinic will explore the essential body positions and movements to feel strong and capable in corners. We’ll also strategize line choice, braking, and traction control to feel in-control and carry speed.
[2pm-5pm] Intermediate Jumping
If you are already clearing basic table-top jumps and want to work on precision for different shape ramps/lips or want to start to adding some movement / style / tricks to your jumping, join us for this clinic to help you jump better!
Register on our website! Spots will likely sell out on a few clinics. We are stoked to bring this event back after last year's hit of a weekend. Come shred and learn with us!
