Got a little one who loves bugs? Or a grown-up who’s curious about what’s buzzing in the garden? Come along to our fun, friendly bee talk with bee expert Dr Linda Birkin!

🐝 What is a bee?
🌸 Why bees are such brilliant pollinators
🧐 Bee detective skills: how to tell a bee from other insects
💛 Different types of bees: honey bees, bumblebees, solitary bees & cuckoo bees
👀 Which bees you’re most likely to spot locally
🏡 Easy ways to help bees at home: bee-friendly plants, nesting spots & avoiding pesticides
📱 How families can help scientists by recording bees (citizen science!)

Kids are very welcome (and grown-ups too!) — expect lots of “wow!” facts and simple tips you can try in your garden, yard, balcony, or local park. [
