This workshop is underpinned by the theory and principles of Motivational Interviewing and is suitable for all staff who have interactions with patients. No previous experience is required.

. On completion participants will have,

• Learned and practised the skills required to facilitate behaviour change conversations with patients​
• Learned the fundamental spirit and principles of Motivational Interviewing​​
• Considered how to put Motivational Interviewing skills into practice in their clinical settings​
• Increased confidence in working with resistance to change​
