About this Event
Price: Free for Members | $10 for Non-Members
As the day begins and the world is still soft with morning light, join MyOutdoorJoy for a 3-mile contemplative hike at the Hector Henry Greenway in Concord, NC. This experience is intentionally designed to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that often get lost in the busyness of daily life. "Becoming Friends" is more than just a walk in the woods; it is a gentle morning journey where nature serves as a friendly invitation to meet your own thoughts with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
Throughout our 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. session on July 25, we will traverse an easy-to-moderate trail, pausing periodically for moments of reflective journaling. You will be guided by simple prompts curated to open the door to self-understanding, grounding, and emotional ease. This is a rare opportunity to become better friends with yourself—kindly, slowly, and entirely without pressure. Whether you are craving mental clarity, a sense of calm, or simply a meaningful start to your day, this heart-opening experience offers the perfect sanctuary.
To make the most of our time together, please come prepared with a journal, a pen, plenty of water, and comfortable walking shoes. You may also want to bring an optional light layer, a hat, sunscreen, and bug repellent to stay comfortable on the trail. Because we aim to keep this experience quiet and intimate, spots are strictly limited. We encourage you to reserve your place as soon as possible to ensure you can join us for this morning of connection and peace.
