She forgot she was free. This is the day to play! This is the day to connect to HER God-Self. YOU ARE HER! Take the journey to meet HER.
About this Event

She forgot she was free. This is the day she remembers.

BECOMING is not a conference.

It is not a workshop.

It is not another event where you sit, take notes, and go home the same woman who walked in.

BECOMING is a full-day Connection Camp for women who are ready to stop performing and start returning. Returning to the woman they were before fear, responsibility, and survival took over. Before the world got loud. Before they forgot.

This is a day of truth, release, play, identity, purpose, and declaration, held inside a room of 100 women who came for the same reason you did.

You will laugh. You will cry. You will write letters to the little girl you left behind. You will play, move, create, and breathe. You will meet yourself again.

And you will leave identified.

BECOMING is powered by HER EMPIRE (the next era of Latina Empire) and inspired by the upcoming book, She Forgot She Was Free: Returning to the Girl You Were Before the World Got Loud by Co-Founder Giselle Mascarenhas.

What to expect:

  • A full day of guided experiences from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • A team of expert coaches leading each block of the day
  • Play stations, activations, and embodiment experiences
  • A Faith-based Rebirth Ceremony to close the day
  • A curated camp kit waiting for you at the door
  • Vendors, a prayer room, book signings, and reflection spaces throughout the day

What to bring:

A childhood photo, the younger the better. This is for one of the most powerful experiences of the day.

Dress:

Come comfortably empowered. Come in what allows you to feel whole. Wear something you can move in and feel free in.

This Independence Day, declare your own.

Agenda

🕑: 08:30 AM - 09:00 AM
Camp Check-In
Host: Africa Gibb

Info: Emotional Purpose: She knows the moment she walks in, this is not a conference.

Music is playing.
Breakfast Grazing Table is a visual experience.
She receives her camp kit: a name tag for her to write her first name only, a journal for the day, one question on a card: “What did you love before you learned to be responsible for everything?”, and markers.

🕑: 09:00 AM - 09:45 AM
CAMP FIRE
Host: Giselle Mascarenhas

Info: The Opening Circle
Emotional Purpose: Arrive. Be seen. Tell the truth.
Giselle opens. Not as a keynote speaker, as a woman sitting with HER sisters. She names what brought every woman in that room: the exhaustion of performing, achieving, managing, carrying. She introduces the thread of the day.
“We are not here to become someone new. We are here to remember who we always were.”

9:45 – 10:00 AM | Free Time

Info: Giselle shares the details about the Prayer room, book signings, vendors, and reflection spaces open. This is the first block of time to explore those sections.

🕑: 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
TRUTH TRAIL
Host: Eliza Garza

Info: The Unmasking led by Eliza Garza
Emotional Purpose: Release the performance beginning with the WORD of the Day for this Camp and Prayer. Encouraging HER to say what has never been said out loud.

After the Activation Eliza breaks the group up into 4 sections. Women are guided through a facilitated small-group experience, each with a coach.

10:45 – 11:00 AM | Free Time

Info: Prayer room, book signings, vendors, and reflection spaces open.

🕑: 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM
THE LITTLE GIRL LETTERS
Host: Marie Salazar Garcia

Info: Identity Excavation led by Marie Salazar Garcia
Emotional Purpose: Reconnect with her. The woman you forgot you were.
Women were asked to bring a childhood photo in advance. They are seated, soft music plays, and Marie leads a guided visualization. She meets her little girl. She sees her. She writes her a letter.

11:45 AM – 12:00 PM | Free Time

Info: Prayer room, book signings, vendors, and reflection spaces open.

🕑: 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
THE FREEDOM FIELD
Host: Caro Chams

Info: Emotional Purpose: Release resistance. Reclaim curiosity. Step back into childlike joy and freedom.
The walls are down. Now she needs to feel it in her body. Caro leads the room through a full vibrational activation experience, moving every woman from her head into her body, from performance into presence, and from heaviness into joy. Through breath, movement, sound, and energy work she dissolves the last layer of resistance and raises the frequency of the entire room. By the time this block closes every woman is unlocked, elevated, and ready to play.
“You do not have to earn joy. You were born with it. Today you are taking it back.”

🕑: 12:45 PM - 01:45 PM
MESS HALL

Info: Nourish + Connect
Emotional Purpose: Rest. Breathe. Let it settle.
Seated lunch with curated spaces for groups to gather together. Tables, chairs, and lounge nooks stay mixed. The coaches create circles, pulling women into intimate pockets of conversation and laughter. A conversation card at every place setting with one question:
“What is one thing you have reclaimed today that you did not walk in with?”
No programming. No agenda. Just 100 women talking, laughing, and exhaling together. The coaches hold the energy of the room, keeping it warm, connected, and alive.

🕑: 01:45 PM - 02:30 PM
THE PLAY STATIONS
Host: Giselle Mascarenhas

Info: Emotional Purpose: Feel alive again. This is nervous system healing disguised as play.
Giselle takes the room. Fresh off Caro’s activation, the women are open, warm, and ready. Giselle ignites the play station block with energy, laughter, and a direct invitation to stop performing and start living. She models it first. She makes it safe. She makes it irresistible.
“What made you feel alive before you became responsible for everything?”
The music shifts. The DJ lifts the room. Women move freely through intentional play stations, each one held by a coach who is not instructing but fully playing. The energy each coach carries is the invitation. Joy is contagious and every coach in the room is proof of that.

THE PLAY STATIONS CONTINUED...

DEEP WATERS

The morning was about excavating and releasing. This block is about integrating everything that surfaced and stepping into a declared identity. Magdalena leads the room through a guided journey that honors the stories that shaped each woman, creates space to release what was never hers to carry, and moves her into a settled, embodied knowing of who she is and who she is becoming.

3:15 – 3:30 PM | Free Time

Info: Prayer room, book signings, vendors, and reflection spaces open.

🕑: 03:30 PM - 04:15 PM
SPARK SESSIONS

Info: Activation by Choice, each session led by one of the coaches
Emotional Purpose: Purpose. Direction. Leave with something tangible in your hands and your heart.
Women choose one of five 45-minute breakout sessions, each one rooted in the 5 C’s of Vitality from She Forgot She Was Free. Each session is experiential, not a lecture. Women leave with a tool, a truth, or a next step they can act on immediately.

SPARK SESSION OPTION A & B
Host: Eliza Garza

Info: Option A | COURAGE
Led by Eliza Garza
Moving through fear into the life you stopped letting yourself want. Women identify the fear that has kept them small, name it out loud, and take one grounded step toward what they have been avoiding. Freedom does not wait for fear to disappear. It moves in spite of it.

Option B | COMMUNITY
Led by Marie Salazar Garcia
Building your circle, your sisterhood, your support ecosystem. Women discover the difference between connection and true community, identify where they have been isolated or performing in their relationships, and leave with a clear vision of the sisterhood they are building and the woman they are becoming inside of it.

SPARK SESSION OPTION C & D
Host: Caro Chams

Info: Option C | CONTENT AND VOICE
Led by Caro Chams
Owning your story and sharing it without shrinking. Women move through what has kept their voice small and leave with their core story distilled into a clear, courageous message they are no longer willing to keep quiet.

Option D | CONSISTENCY
Led by Magdalena Aguinaga
Becoming the woman who shows up for herself first. Women identify the gap between who they are and who they are consistently choosing to be and leave with the one practice, boundary, or decision that when honored daily, changes everything. Consistency is not discipline. It is devotion to yourself.

SPARK SESSION OPTION E
Host: Esther Akindayomi

Info: Option E | COMMITMENT
Led by Esther Akindayomi
Saying yes to the life you keep almost choosing. Women name the vision, calling, or version of themselves they have been circling without fully stepping into. They leave having made one real, declared commitment to themselves in front of witnesses.

4:15 – 4:30 PM | Free Time

Info: Prayer room, book signings, vendors, and reflection spaces open.

🕑: 04:30 PM - 05:15 PM
THE REBIRTH CEREMONY
Host: Esther Akindayomi

Info: Emotional Purpose: Declare. Return. Be witnessed. Step into the fullness of who God created you to be.
This is not the end of an event. This is a woman stepping back into her God-given identity, before fear, performance, and survival rewrote her story. By the time women reach this moment, the walls are down. The soil is ready. Esther is not planting a new seed. She is calling up the one God already placed there.
“Before the world named you, God named you first.”

🕑: 05:15 PM - 05:30 PM
The Send-Off
Host: Giselle Mascarenhas

Info: Emotional Purpose: She leaves with evidence of who she was and who she remembered.
Giselle steps back in for the final word. She ties together the arc of the entire day and speaks directly to what these women are walking back into, their homes, their work, their relationships, now identified.
