Become an Octagon Barn Docent!

Join us for our upcoming Octagon Barn docent trainings and help share the history and charm of the Octagon Barn! As a docent, you’ll guide visitors through this historic landmark, sharing stories about its restoration, significance, and the Land Conservancy’s work—plus the rich history of dairying in San Luis Obispo County.

Training Dates:

• Sunday, February 9
• Thursday, February 27
• Sunday, March 9
• Sunday, March 23

We’ll teach you everything you need to know—no experience required, just a passion for local history and engaging with the community! Haven’t been to the Octagon Barn before? Join us for an introduction!

If you can’t make one of the training dates, no worries—we’ll work with you to get caught up.
