Discover how forensic science & investigative techniques help protect endangered wildlife —then put your detective skills to the test! Learn how to lift fingerprints, test out your skills, and experience the tools used to help bring justice for wildlife.
All proceeds support our upcoming Wildlife CSI training program this October at the Wild Tomorrow Conservation Center in KwaZulu-Natal South Africa.
About Captain Jesse
Captain Jesse Paluch is a real-life wildlife detective with more than 26 years of service as an environmental law enforcement officer. As Regional Captain within New York City, he has dedicated his career to investigating environmental crime and combating the illegal wildlife trade.
He led Operation White Gold, a record-breaking ivory trafficking investigation that resulted in major ivory seizures, felony convictions, and more than $500,000 directed to wildlife conservation, culminating in a public ivory crush in Central Park to raise awareness.
Captain Jesse also serves as Lead Instructor for Wildlife Defense, training wildlife rangers and investigators across Africa in wildlife crime scene forensics, undercover operations, and surveillance. Through multiple international missions, he has helped train more than 1,000 rangers and continues to support the next generation of conservation professionals as an adjunct instructor at SUNY Cobleskill.
